Mount Cobb, PA - Marywood University's men's golf team and sophomore Michael Thomas both set school records Saturday as the Pacers fired a team score of 300 and Thomas fired a individual low scoring record of 67.  Marywood went 3-0 with wins over Keystone (325), Penn College of Technology (330) and Baptist Bible College (473).

On a rain soaked and windy afternoon in Mount Cobb, Thomas fired five under par to set a new school record for the best individual round in the four year history of the men's golf program.  Willis Davenport finished tied for second place with a +4 round of 76 while Nicholas Johnson and M. Frank Major IV both finished tied for fifth with scores of 78 (+6).  Major IV's score did not count as part of the Pacers' team score as he and four other Pacers were playing as individuals.

Dalton Deardorff's round of 79 rounded out the team scoring for Marywood.  Jeff Siemion (83), Jordan Ohler (86) and Gaetano Zarra (86) also played for Marywood as individuals.

Marywood (8-2) will host Wilkes and King's in a tri-match on Thursday, September 18 at Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic.
