Scranton, PA - A penalty kick goal served to be the deciding factor in Marywood University men's soccer's 1-0 loss Tuesday to Penn State Harrisburg. Despite leading in both shots and shots on goal, the Pacers were unable to find the back of the net for the second time this season.

Penn State Harrisburg's Alex Panuccio beat the goalkeeper to the left post on a penalty kick in the 13th minute in what proved to be the game's lone score. Marywood (1-2-2) keeper Justin Sunseri correctly guessed left but was not able to outstretch to stop the Panuccio shot.

Sunseri finished with three saves.

Marywood's two best chances came without fruition. Daniel Hull headed a corner kicked just high of the top post in the 28th minute. With 30 seconds left, Casey Peckio delivered a well-placed shot from 20 yards out that was saved by Lions (4-1) keeper Brandon Hoover.

Marywood led 15-9 in shots and 7-4 in shots on target. The Pacers had a clear 7-1 advantage in corner kick opportunities.

The Pacers will travel to Delaware to face Wesley College on Saturday.
