Selinsgrove, PA - Susquehanna University scored four first half goals and the host Crusaders cruised to a 6-0 win over Marywood University in non-conference field hockey action Wednesday evening in Selinsgrove.  The Crusaders improved to 5-3 with the win while Marywood slipped to 2-4 with the loss.  Kayle Huey made eight saves in the loss.

Susquehanna wasted little time getting on the board as the Crusaders scored just 2:21 into the contest when Emily Novakovich redirected a pass from Lauren Cram into the top of the net.  Sixteen minutes later the hosts doubled their lead when Katherine Millett scored her sixth goal of the season off a feed from Brodie Ercole.

Goals from Cayla Spatz (26:11) and Megahn Plunkett (33:18) made it 4-0 at the half.

Millett scored her second of the game just 3:44 into the second half.  Spatz closed the scoring with her second of the game with just one second left in the game off a helper from Millett.

Marywood returns to action Saturday when they open CSAC play with a trip to Baltimore, Maryland, to face Notre Dame University of Maryland at 1:00 pm.
