Pacers Fall to Neumann in CSAC Opener

Aston, PA – Marywood University dropped its Colonial States Athletic Conference women's volleyball opener in three sets Saturday to Neumann University. The Knights went on to victory by scores of 25-16, 25-10, 26-24.

Kelly Chadwick led the team in assists and digs. She contributed 11 assists and 11 digs. Danielle DeIulio was a dig away from a double-double with nine digs and 10 assists. Amy Kester supplied 10 digs.

Ashley Zalewski led the attack with 10 kills.

Marywood struggled out of the gate with just five kills and a sub attack percentage in each of the first two sets. The Pacers were competitive in the third set, forcing extra points until falling 26-24 to the Knights.

Marywood travels to Keystone College Thursday to take on the Giants at 7:00 pm. The Pacers return home Saturday to host Cedar Crest College and Wilkes University in a tri-match.
