Men's Golf Beats Keystone, Scranton and BBC in Quad-Match

Tunkhannock, PA - Michael Thomas earned medalist honors for the third time this fall and Marywood University improved to 15-3 on the year as the Pacers won the Baptist Bible College quad-match Thursday afternoon at Stonehedge Golf Course in Tunkhannock.  Marywood shot a team score of 319 to beat Keystone College (328), the University of Scranton (334) and the host Defenders (481).

Thomas' one-over round of 72 came after a three over front nine (39) and a two-under back nine (33).  Thomas had four birdies nine including one with a 15-foot putt.  Nicholas Johnson finished third with a round of 77 (+6).  Keysotne's Matt Lewis came in second with a 75. 

M. Frank Major IV and Gaetano Zarra tied for 8th place with rounds of 85.  Jeff Siemion shot a 87.

Marywood returns to action Monday at the AGA Invitational hosted by King's College at the Wyoming Valley Country Club in Hanover Township.
