Playing just its second match in September, the Pacers were clicking on all cylinders from the get-go, stamping a .360 kill percentage with 11 kills and just two errors. After yielding the first point of the game, Marywood cruised for a six-point run, thanks to three Kester aces in four serves. Khozouri closed it out for a five-point run to lead the Pacers to a 25-11 win.

Khozouri engineered another strong start for the Pacers in the second set. Falling behind 3-1, Khozouri's serves sparked a seven-point run to give Marywood an 8-3 lead. Marywood's lead grew to as many as seven before the Giants came back to cut it to three at 23-20. Bristol made a key kill to set up game point.

The third set went back and forth with the Pacers and Giants trading leads until a 21-21 stalemate. The Giants closed the set on a 4-2 lead, backed by consecutive aces from Anya Cerniglia, to extend the match to four games.

Keystone kept the fourth set close, holding on to a 16-15 deficit before the Pacers jolted on an 8-3 run to get match point with a 24-18 lead. Three straight Giant points off Ciera Scepaniek serves made it a three-point contest. Anlas sealed the victory with a kill off a Chadwick assist.

Marywood hosts Cedar Crest College and Wilkes University in a tri-match Saturday. The Pacers will take on the Falcons at 10:00 am and face the Colonels at 2:00 pm.
