Scranton, PA - Daniel Hull scored two goals in the first 11 minutes to prompt Marywood University men's soccer to a 4-0 victory over Lebanon Valley College on Saturday. The Pacers even their record at 2-2-3 and earn their second shutout of the season, the first since taking Wilkes to a scoreless draw Aug. 29 to start the season.

Dylan McMahon had a season-best three points on a goal and an assist. Matthew Hull scored for the first time this season.

Justin Sunseri earned a save with six saves in a full 90 minutes in net.

Daniel Hull scored in the ninth minute when he slotted through the edge of the 18 yard line -- thanks to a McMahon pass -- and beat the keeper to the near post. Less than three minutes later, he scored again in the 11th minute. On a breakaway, he beat both the defender and keeper, scoring on an open net from the ground upon a collision.

His younger brother Matthew came through in the 16th minute. Matthew picked off a clearance attempt and struck net from the center of the 18 yard line.

McMahon used his speed to his advantage to amp the lead to four. He beat two defenders in the left corner of the 18. He hit the far post on a bender that just grazed the keeper's hands.

Joshua Soto saved the shutout late in the game when he booted out a ball just in front of the goal line that was surely headed into net.

Lebanon Valley (4-5-1) tied the Pacers with 10 shots. Marywood owned a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks. The Dutchmen did not convert a save.

Marywood starts its Colonial States Athletic Conference schedule Wednesday when it hosts Baptist Bible College at 4:00 pm.
