Scranton, PA - Visiting Lebanon Valley College rebounded from a 6-0 setback to #15 Misericordia University Wednesday with a 6-0 win of their own as the Flying Dutchmen downed host Marywood University in the 4th annual Joe Bochicchio Memorial Classic Saturday afternoon.

The visitors wasted little time getting on the board as they scored just :44 seconds into the contest.  Emily Osborne made a fine save on Teanna Shutt's breakaway attempt in the opening seconds but Shutt followed the rebound out to the top of the 18 and then chipped a recovering Osborne for the game's first goal.  The Dutchmen added to their lead five minutes later with Meghin Ross' tally, also a chip shot from the opposite corner of the 18.  LVC added a goal in the 26th minute by Amanda Douglass on one of two helpers on the day from Meghan Ross to make it 3-0.

Another early goal in the second half put the visitors up 4-0, this time as Sammy Bost scored 2:15 into the second.  Bost then scored again in the 60th minute and Laura Zimmerman closed the scoring in the 70th.

Taylor Reinhold made five saves for the shutout win.  Osborne and Victoria Pezdirtz each allowed three goals and made four saves in 45 minutes of work.

Marywood will host Richard Stockton College, who lost to the University of Scranton 1-0 in the other opening round game, tomorrow at 1:00 pm.
