Scranton, PA - For the second consecutive day, host Marywood University gave up an early goal and was unable to recover as the visiting Richard Stockton College picked up a 4-0 win Sunday afternoon in the fourth annual Joe Bochicchio Memorial Classic.  Both teams entered the game winless and without having scored a goal, but the Ospreys (1-4) got goals from four different players on the day to break their offensive drought.  Marywood (0-4) has still yet to score on the season.

Lexi Stasi opened the scoring for Stockon at the 3:27 mark when she tapped a ball in along the left flank.  Stasi took a feed from Adrianna Boucher and beat one defender with a long touch before poking the ball past Marywood keeper Emily Osborne for the eventual game winner.  In the 25th minute the Ospreys doubled their lead as Rachel Copare tok a pass back from Stasi and lifted the ball to the far right corner of the netting.

In the second half, the Ospreys scored in the 63rd minute on a beautiful cross from Chelsea James that was headed home by Keara Homan, and again in the 71st minute on a Boucher penalty kick.

Stockton out-shot Marywood 25-7 on the day and allowed just three shots on goal.  Lauren Haynes made three saves in 79 minutes of play for the win whle Dionia Henderson played the final 11 minutes in goal for the Ospreys.  Osborne made five first half saves and Victoria Pezdirtz made six second half stops for the Pacers.

Marywood continues their challenging non-conference slate next Saturday with a trip to the College at Brockport (N.Y.).
