Gwynedd Valley, PA - Despite a fifth straight game with a double digit point performance from Shane Kellaher Marywood University fell on the road to Gwynedd Mercy University 94-78.  Kellaher led four Pacers in double figures with a team high 16 points in the loss, which dropped the Pacers to 8-5 overall and 3-3 in CSAC play.  The Griffins had two players score 22 points and a third score 21 as they improved to 9-4 (4-2 CSAC).

Julian Hyden and Seth Heinicke both had 22 points and Darnell Artis had 21 for GMU as the trio combined for 65 points on the night.

With the hosts holding a 25-22 lead just over 11 minutes into the game, the Griffins used a 15-5 run to break the game open and take a commanding 13 point lead.  They would eventually go into the break with a 18-point, 53-35 lead, from which Marywood could never recover.

Gwynedd hit 53.7% of their shots from the floor and 56% from three point land while limiting the Pacers to their attempts and 42.4% shooting from the floor.  

Marywood returns to action Wednesday night at 8:00 pm when they host perennial CSAC power Cabrini College in the Insalaco Arena.
