Scranton, PA - Marywood University forced 31 turnovers en route to a 71-33 victory over Notre Dame (Md.) Saturday in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's basketball action. The Pacers put themselves into a three-way tie for third place in the conference with a 10-5, 5-2 CSAC record. Notre Dame falls to 5-12 overall and 2-7 in the conference. 

Danielle Terranella was the lone player in double figures with 14 points. Alexa Gerchman, Lisa Steakin, Nora Joyce and Catie Nealon finished with eight. Maggie Presnal had a game-high eight rebounds. 

Three players -- Zaria Comer, Allyson Whiteacre, Stephanie Roche -- led the Gators with eight points. Comer corralled seven rebounds. 

Marywood shot 41.8 percent from the field and held the Gators to 28.9 percent shooting. The Pacers outrebounded Notre Dame by a 44-33 margin. 

The Pacers scored the first 12 points of the game, holding the Gators to without a bucket for the first 4:08. Notre Dame came within single digits twice, the last coming off a Roche 3-pointer to make it 15-7 with 15:38 remaining in the first. The Pacers went on a seven-point run in the next 90 seconds. 

After making the first two points of the second half, Notre Dame went scoreless for over 11 minutes as Marywood accrued a 16-point run. 

Marywood travels to Cedar Crest College Monday before hosting Cairn University Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
