Scranton, PA – Host Marywood University won the Sleep Inn-Dunmore Holiday Classic with a 60-53 victory over Mount Aloysius College Sunday in women's basketball. The Pacers were the lone team in the tournament to win both games, topping off only other team without a loss in the final matchup of the Classic.

Danielle Terranella received the Holiday Classic Most Valuable Player award with nine points and six rebounds against the Mounties. Terranella averaged 15 points and seven rebounds between the two games.

Maggie Presnal was the Pacers' other representative on the All-Tournament Team. The other players named to the Sleep Inn-Dunmore Holiday Classic All-Tournament team were Keystone's Aaliya Hayes, King's Marissa Manning, and Mount Aloysius' Alexia Servello.

The Pacers (6-4) rushed out to a 12-0 lead in the first 4:11 of the game. Marywood went on a 15-4 run to lead by as many as 20 points following an Ashley Murray 3-pointer just before the halfway mark of the first half.

Mount Aloysius (5-4) kept Marywood to without a field goal for the final 8:52 of the game. Maddie Lavery's jumper made it an 18-point lead at 53-35. The Mounties went on a 10-point run. Gerchman ended the drought with a free throw at 3:28; however, Servello swished a jumper on the other end to cut the Pacers' once-cushioned lead to seven.

Alexis Restori hit a layup to bring it to a two-possession game with less than a minute left. Tara Steakin made 3 of 4 free throws down the stretch to close the win.

Abby Kulick was a rebound shy of a double-double for the Mounties with 16 points and nine rebounds. Servello scored 12 points, including eight of the team's first 10.

Marywood shot 38.6 percent from the field, holding Mt. Aloysius to 29 percent. The Mounties out-rebounded the Pacers 48-38.
