Hackettstown, NJ - Each team had plenty of good chances but in the end Marywood University and host Centenary College settled for a 1-1 draw Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's soccer action in Hackettstown.  Marywood stands at 5-5-2 (4-1-1 CSAC) after the stalemate while the Cyclones go to 4-7-1 (3-2-1).

Julie Youngman tallied Marywood's lone goal, her third of the week, while Aly Moyer made a key save on a second half penalty kick to keep the game at 1-1.

After a 0-0 first half which saw each team generate a couple of dangerous looks with no finishes, Marywood got on the board just 2:20 into the second half.  Julie Youngman took advantage of a ball that was played back to the keeper but did not make it, then tapped it by Hannah Walsh and another defender before out-racing one final defender to put the ball away into an empty net and a 1-0 Marywood lead.

Centenary answered fifteen minutes later as Jessica Benoit flicked a ball on to Lorraine Dedrick who beat Moyer one on one at the top of the box to knot the game at a goal apiece.

Less than 10 minutes later, Moyer had to come up big for the Pacers.  A hand ball called on Marywood resulted in a penalty kick, but Moyer made a diving stop to her right to deny Cara Holmes the potential game-winner.

From there, Marywood missed several chances at their own game-winning goal, with close calls from Youngman, Ashley Kruchinsky and Megan Swiecicki.  Centenary got a great look on their first corner in overtime with the ball deflecting off the post, but could not get off their final corner successfully as time expired on the game.

The Cyclones enjoyed an edge on shots for the day (19-12) but it was Marywood who had a 7-6 advantage in shots on goal.  The Cyclones had four corners to the Pacers' three.

Marywood will host perennial league leader Cabrini College, winners of 20 straight CSAC games, Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 pm.
