Rosemont, PA - Marywood University's women's tennis team clinched their eighth consecutive post-season berth with a 9-0 win over host Rosemont Saturday afternoon.  The Pacers moved to 10-2 overall and 8-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with the win.

Marywood made quick work of the Ravens Saturday, winning #1 doubles (Avery McCall and Devon Underwood) 8-2 and #2 and #3 doubles 8-0.

In singles, McCall downed Emily Javitt 6-4, 6-2 at #1 while Abygail Doud was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at #2 for the Pacers. After Underwood defeated Danielle Lelie 6-0, 6-1 at #3, Melanie Kobela, Nicole Sinclair and Shannon Spencer all won 6-0, 6-0.

Marywood holds a slight one match lead over Gwynedd Mercy University (7-0 CSAC) in the win column.  The Pacers will be at Immaculata University Friday before traveling to Gwynedd Mercy University for a possible battle for the top seed on Saturday.
