Scranton, PA - Marywood's Amanda Allikmaa scored the go ahead goal just under seven minutes into the second half but Cabrini answered just over 11 minutes later as the Pacers and Cavaliers tied 1-1 in CSAC women's soccer action Tuesday afternoon in Scranton.  The Pacers are now 5-5-3 on the year with a 4-1-2 mark in league play.

The tie snapped a 21-game regular season CSAC winning streak for the visitors, but the Cavs (5-5-1, 4-0-1 CSAC) remain unbeaten in their last 25 straight now (23-0-2).  Both ties have been against Marywood in Scranton, as the last, also a 1-1 draw, came on October 5, 2013.  Cabrini has not lost a regular season CSAC game since a 2-1 setback to Neumann on September 25, 2013.

After a nil-nil stalemate to open the first half with the visitors holding a slight 6-3 edge in shots, Allikmaa struck 6:42 into the second frame.  Taking a feed from Ashley Kruchinsky on a give-and-go, Allikmaa put it in the far-post shelf from 23 yards away for her fourth tally of the season and a 1-0 lead.

Like Marywood's 1-0 lead Saturday at Centenary, it did not last long.

Cabrini, who proved dangerous on every corner kick they took (11-3 advantage), found the tying goal when the Pacers' defense mis-played and failed to clear a corner.  Kaitlyn Cooper scooped up the ball on the far corner of the six-yard box and dropped a central pass to Dana Peterson who one-timed it home into an empty net.

From that point, each team had several more looks at goal with a couple of dangerous chances for each.  Cabrini continued to pressure Marywood's back four, holding a 6-5 advantage in shots in the two overtime periods.

The visitors held a 23-16 advantage in shots (12-7 on goal).  Alivia Dietsch had six saves for the Cavaliers while Aly Moyer had a game-high 11 stops for the Pacers in 110 minutes of action.

Marywood will be in Aston Saturday to take on Neumann at 4:30 pm.
