Allentown, PA - Marywood University senior Leanne McManus became just the second field hockey player in school history to reach the 100 Point Club in a four-goal effort to lead the Pacers to an 8-1 victory over Cedar Crest College in Colonial States Athletic Conference action. The Pacers up their record to above .500 at 7-6 overall and 3-1 in conference play.

Needing six points to reach the feat, McManus joined the Club with her third goal of the game - an unassisted tally in the 29th minute. Later in the second half, she scored her 100th career point at Marywood in the 54th minute. McManus had a goal for West Chester University in its Division II-championship winning season in 2012 before transferring to Marywood.

With her goal, McManus also matches a career high - set in 2013 - with her 15th cager of the season. The Wilkes-Barre, Pa. native is one shy of tying Lauren Wynne '96's 20-year program-best season goals benchmark. She passed Lauren Wynne '96 for second on the all-time career goals record. Despite playing just three seasons at Marywood, McManus is five goals away from Tichy's school record.

Cassie Stockwell added two goals for the Pacers. Julie Kowalski contributed a goal and an assist. Kowalski's assist puts her third on the all-time assists record book with her 17th. Amelia Waibel and Gabbie Bower each knotted an assist. Bower's helper pits her tied for second with Tichy for most assists (nine) in a season by a Pacer, just two behind Bonnie Bergen's 2011 mark.

Tori Jo Kakusian added a score for her 13th of the year. Nicole Merrill made one save in a winning effort.

After Stockwell hit the back of the cage via Bower less than two minutes into the contest, Cedar Crest evened the score at 1-1 on one of its two shots on target. Emily Rodenberger found an opening from Hannah Gouck in the 13th to level things in Allentown.

Six minutes later, McManus would start what would turn out to be a hat trick (all unassisted) within a 10 minute, 15 second span. The senior forward put the go-ahead in the net in the 19th minute, and the Pacers went on to total the next seven goals of the game.

Marywood finds itself in a three-way tie for second-place with Cabrini College and Keystone College. Gwynedd Mercy beat the Cavaliers 5-3 Saturday to take sole possession of first place.

The Pacers travel to Keystone College Wednesday in a battle of two second-place teams.
