Aston, PA - Marywood University's Megan Swiecicki recorded a hat-trick and Julie Youngman had a goal before playing the final 28 minutes in goal as Marywood registered a 4-1 win at Neumann University Saturday evening in Aston.

Marywood moves to 6-5-3 (5-1-2 CSAC) with the win while the Knights fell to 1-12 (1-7 CSAC) with the loss.

Swiecicki opened the scoring in the 11th minute when she finished her first of three on the day.  Swiecicki took a feed from Amanda Allikmaa and slotted the Neumann keeper from 16 yards out for the game's first goal.  Less than four minutes later, the rookie doubled Marywood's lead on another helper from Allikmaa.

Julie Youngman scored unassisted on a tough angle shot in the 32nd minute after several failed attempts from Marywood and failed clearances from Neumann to build Marywood's lead to three, and Swiecicki took a feed from Ashley Kruchinsky in the 60th minute to make it 4-0.

After a minor injury took Aly Moyer out of the game for Marywood, Neumann got on the board with a goal from Jamie King in the 74th minute off a helper from Alexa DeRose.

Marywood held a 14-11 advantage in shots and placed nine on goal to Neumann's six. Each team had three corners.  Kristen Montgomery had five saves for the Knights.  Moyer had three for the Pacers, while Youngman played the final 28:24 in net and registered two saves.

Marywood is back in action Tuesday with a huge CSAC game at Gwynedd Mercy University.  Kickoff in Gwynedd Valley is set for 6:00 pm.
