Scranton, PA - Marywood University shut out Cairn University in a 2-0 victory Wednesday in Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer action. The Pacers' defense held the Highlanders to six shots on goal. 

Daniel Hull totaled three points on a goal and an assist. Hull found net for the fourth consecutive game, scoring his 10th goal and 23rd point of the year. Markus Donahoe also recorded his second goal of the season. 

Justin Sunseri notched his second shutout of the year and his 10th of his career. Sunseri made six saves in net. 

Hull put the Pacers ahead in the 41st minute when he turned a corner, made a move on a defender and shot to the far side from the corner of the box. 

He assisted the Pacers' only other goal in the 73rd minute. Hull sent a corner kick across to the far side of the net where Donahoe bodied the ball directly into the net for a 2-0 lead. 

Cairn defender Kenneth Mercadante had a 10-minute spell where he kept three Pacer shots from going beyond the goal line. His keeper Mark Heather finished with 10 stops. 

Marywood outshot the Highlanders 23-16 and had a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks. 

Marywood finished its regular season home schedule and will now play on the road for its final CSAC games. The Pacers currently stand in third place with 13 points behind Cabrini (16) and Centenary (15).
