Scranton, PA - Marywood University got a five point day from Megan Swiecicki and a four-point day from Ashley Kruchinsky as the Pacers claimed a 7-0 win over visiting Keystone College Saturday afternoon to clinch the program's 9th straight post-season berth. The Pacers improved to 7-6-4 overall and 6-2-2 in league play while Keystone fell to 6-8-1 and 6-4 CSAC with the loss.

Marywood wasted little time getting on the board as Ashley Kruchinsky took a cross from Megan Swiecicki and tapped home the ball past Sarah Heinze in the 8th minute for a 1-0 lead. Swiecicki and Kruchinsky then reversed rolls for the next two goals as Kruchinsky helped on both. In the 10th minute, Kruchinsky stripped a defender of the ball and set up a one-on-one for Swiecicki and the goalie. Swiecicki calmly slotted Heinze for a 2-0 Marywood lead.

Just under four minutes later, Kruchinsky again found Swiecicki on a beautifully crossed ball to the far post as Marywood built a 3-0 lead in the game's first 14 minutes of play.

In the 17th minute, Brianna Bruster used some fancy one-on-one technique to beat a defender and set up a goal scoring opportunity but the junior was taken down from behind in the penalty box and a penalty kick was awarded. Aly Barlock slotted home her first PK attempt of the year for her first collegiate goal.

Marywood would build a 5-0 halftime lead on a goal from Amanda Allikmaa in the 24th minute of play. Allikmaa stripped a defender and just like Swiecicki's first goal, beat the keeper one-on-one.

In the second half, Bruster found the back of the net when she settled an Elizabeth Carlson cross and fired a shot from the top of the 18 that deflected off the top of the crossbar and bounced past the goal line by about a foot.

Sam Lindquist closed the scoring for the Pacers in the 84th minute. Lindquist netted her third goal of the season when she took a feed from Barlok and blasted a 14-yard strike over the top of a charging Katelyn Coon.

Marywood outshot the visitors 29-9 and held a 20-3 advantage in shots on goal, as well as a 4-2 advantage in corners.

Julie Youngman collected the first shutout of her collegiate career in only two and a half games played between the pipes with three saves.

Marywood has little time to celebrate its 11th overall post-season berth as the Pacers wrap up in-league play tomorrow with a trip to Notre Dame of Maryland University. Kickoff is slated for 1:00 pm in Baltimore.
