Volleyball Drops to Mighty Macs, Will Face Immaculata in First Round

Immaculata, PA – Marywood University dropped its regular season finale in three sets to Immaculata University Saturday in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's volleyball. The Pacers fell by scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-15.

With the loss, Pacers stay at the No.5 seed for the CSAC playoffs. Marywood will make the trip back down the Northeast Extension to play the fourth-seeded Mighty Macs (13-7, 8-3 CSAC) Tuesday at 7:00 pm.

Mallorie Deschaine produced 10 kills on 43 attempts. Maddie Lavery finished with seven kills. Danielle DeIulio provided 19 assists. Amanda Khozouri garnered 14 digs.

Immaculata had three players in double-digits for kills. Shelby Belk led with 14 kills for a .500 attack percentage. Arden Vizzard had 13 kills and 10 digs, and Gabrielle Guerrera notched 11 kills and 12 digs.

Maranda Jones tabbed 41 assists.

Marywood shot .118 for the contest, while the Mighty Macs hit for a .330 rate – the third-highest ratio for a Pacer opponent.
