Madison, NJ - Marywood University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams each picked up their first Landmark Conference victories of the season as both programs bested Drew University Saturday in Landmark Conference action. The men were (2-2 overall, 1-1 Landmark) 172-36 victors while the women improved to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference with a 141-70 win over the Rangers.

The Pacers opened the meet with wins in the women's and men's 400 medley relay with times of 4:24.88 (women) and 4:01.58 (men).  In the 1000 free, the women swept with Allison McCarthy winning in 12:19.42 followed by Jamielynn Little (12:55.68) and Kimberly Zimmer (13:29.27).  Jason Beabout won the men's 1000 free in 10:31.33.

Paul Kraycer (1:57.25) and Jared Lubarsky (2:00.73) finished first and second in the 200 free while Joseph Buderwitz (4:34.78), Eddie Sanborn III (4:47.46 and Brian Shanahan (4:52.42) swept the 50 free.  Tom Missal won the 1-meter diving competition with a score of 130.80 and later finished second in the 100 butterfly (1:01.53) behind Buderwitz (59.69).

Mia Nardone was the winner of the 100 butterfly on the women's side in 1:04.99 while Seychelle Duckworth (1:09.06) finished second.  Mary Cate Coyle (58.42) picked up a win in the 100 free while the men picked up another sweep as Paul Kraycer won the 100 free in 50.91 and was followed by Chandler Krause (53.84) and Jacob Jones (54.12).

Shanahan was the 100 back winner with a 59.80 while Virginia Cobb (5:47.51) and Bryon Scholl (5:06.34) won the 500 free.  The Pacers closed the meet with wins from Krause (1:06.76) in the 100 breast and then relay wins from the men (1:39.55) and women (1:54.59) in the 200 free relay.

Marywood will return to action on November 21 as they host The University of Scranton at 1:00 pm.
