Scranton, PA - Connor Shroyer's career-high 22 points helped Marywood University snap a five-game slide as the Pacers dominated Mount Saint Mary College (NY) 78-59 Wednesday evening in Scranton. The Pacers improved to 4-5 with the win while the Knights fell to 4-6 overall.

Up 21-11 early, Marywood gave up back-to-back three's to make it 21-17 before going on a 13-2 run to close the first half and go into the locker room with a 34-19 lead.

Mt. St. Mary College kept things closer in a much higher scoring second half, but the Pacers still managed to out-score the visitors 44-40 in the frame and cruised to the 19-point win.

Shroyer was on fire all night, going 8 of 11 from the floor, three of four from behind the arc and three of three from the line. Shane Letthand added 15 for Marywood while James Curley had 10.  Shroyer also tied for the game-high in rebounds with eight, finishing just two boards shy of a double-double.

Daniel Wolf led the Knights with 11 points but was the only visitor in double digits.

While the teams combined for 45 turnovers on the night, Marywood held the Knights to just 31% shooting from the floor and 30% from three point range.  Mt. St. Mary College hit just 16% (2 of 12) of their free throws in the first half and only 46% for the game while Marywood was 15 of 17 from the charity stripe (88.2%).

Marywood will close out 2016 with a home game on December 30 against Lebanon Valley College.
