Harris Records Game High, Pacers Fall at Cabrini

Radnor, PA - Host Cabrini College broke open a tight game with a late first half 10-2 run and went on to defeat visiting Marywood University 91-74 in CSAC action Saturday afternoon in Radnor.  Kendall Harris had a game-high 27 points in the loss for the Pacers, who fell to 3-5 overall and 0-3 in CSAC play.  Cabrini improved to 3-5 (1-1 CSAC) with the win.

The Cavaliers had five players in double figures led by Deryl Bagwell's team-high 20, while Shane Letthand joined Harris in double digits for Marywood with 17.  

After Cabrini built a 22-12 lead in the first nine minutes of the game, Marywood got back to within one (28-27) over the next six and a half minutes. But a late 10-2 run from the hosts allowed Cabrini to go into the locker room with a 13-point, 44-31 cushion.

Marywood could not get back within single digits in the second half, as the Pacers were held to four three pointers in the second stanza.  For the game, the Pacers shot 46% from the floor compared to Cabrini's 43.1%, but the Cavaliers hit nearly 52% of their shots from the floor in the second half to keep the visitors at bay.

Marywood will take a 11-day break over finals week before hosting Mount Saint Mary College (NY) on December 16.
