Aston, PA – Marywood University dropped its third consecutive game Saturday in a 72-51 loss to Neumann University in Colonial States Athletic Conference men's basketball action. The Pacers fall into a three-way tie with Immaculata University and Keystone College for the sixth and final conference playoff spot.

Alex Barr led the Pacers with 13 points and five assists. Shane Kellaher posted 10 points to get within 44 of the 1,000 Point Club. No Marywood player finished with more than five rebounds. Jeremy Ringland blocked three shots.

Cameron Dean tallied nine points. Marywood falls to 13-10 overall and an even 8-8 mark during conference play.

Neumann had three players reach double figures. Kevin Green hit eight shots for 20 points. James Butler garnered a double-double with 13 points and 13 assists. DeShawn Lowman generated 13 points.

Marywood struggled from the charity stripe, hitting just 10 of 18 free throw attempts for 55.6 percent. Neumann shot 45 percent from the field, compared to Marywood's 38.3 percent shooting.

Marywood led for the majority of the first 12 minutes of the game, leading by as many five points. After the Pacers led 16-11 with 10:05 left in the first half, Neumann went on a 10-point run over a three-minute span. The Pacers never retook the lead, coming within one possession with 2:16 remaining in the first before the Knights closed on an 8-2 run.

The Pacers close out their regular season this week with two key games against teams in the CSAC playoff hunt. Marywood hosts Centenary College Monday at 7:00 pm in the Insalaco Arena before traveling to Keystone College Wednesday.
