Williamsport, PA – Lycoming College won four-fifths of the draw controls en route to a 16-7 victory over Marywood University Friday in non-conference women's lacrosse. The Pacers fall to 0-2 on the year, while Lycoming wins its season opener.

Erin Healy collected a hat trick with three goals. Natalie Burke totaled a team-high four points on a goal and three assists. Caitlin Watson and Emily Osborne netted a goal each. Michelle Thompson sported two assists.

Watson grabbed four ground balls. Stephanie Hughes snatched three ground balls and draw controls.

Teressa Izzo made five saves on 11 shots in her first career collegiate appearance.

Lycoming's Meghenn Jackson scored six goals and scooped six draw controls. Savannah Fox had an all-around day with four goals and five assists for nine points.

The Warriors owned a draw control contest, claiming 20 of the 25 for the game. Lycoming had advantages in shots (34-24) and ground balls (29-21).
Marywood's matchup at Hartwick College on Sunday was postponed due to unplayable field conditions. The Pacers are off until March 7 when they travel to Lynchburg, Va. to face Randolph College during their Spring Break trip. Marywood takes on Hollins University on March 11 in Roanoke, Va.
