Scranton, PA - Sam Trill set the Marywood University men's lacrosse program record for most career goals scored to lead the Pacers to a 17-2 victory over Immaculata University Saturday in Colonial States Athletic Conference action. The Pacers (5-3, 2-0 CSAC) scored the first 11 goals of the game to win their fourth straight game and remain undefeated in conference play.

Trill scored two goals to notch the 106th and 107th career goals of his career. He surpasses the former benchmark of 105, set by Nick Parks '11 and William Roerden '11.

Just one game after a 14-goal differential over Neumann Tuesday, Marywood posted the biggest win since the Pacers topped Immaculata 26-11 on April 20, 2013.

Marywood won 19 of 22 faceoff opportunities, allowing just one Mighty Mac faceoff win in the final three periods. Riley Litman won 16 faceoffs with nine ground balls.

Scott Slater led the Pacers with five goals. Coming into this week ranked 17th nationally in active assists, Dylan Swope had five helpers and a goal  for a game-high six points.

Jake Drexl totaled two goals and an assist for three points. Travis Pappas and Trill both had two goals.

Defensively, the Pacers were carried by John Werner's four ground balls and Skyler Swope's three ground balls. Marywood won the ground ball game by a 46-33 margin.

Joe Magargal picked up his fifth victory of the year with four saves. Magargal allowed no goals in 30 minutes in net. His replacement, Brian White, made four saves in 15 minutes. Daghan Hart and Chris Favale both made a stop.

Immaculata went punchless on all six extra-man opportunities. Marywood outshot the Mighty Macs by a 41-23 advantage.

Skate scored the first three goals of the game in the first 12:13.

Drexl's two goals were his first career scores collegiately. John Werner and Taylor Goldson each produced their first points of the year with an assist apiece.

The athletics department honored 13 graduating players --
Brandon Terlizzi, Dylan Swope, Brian White, Michael Suarez, Sam Trill, Michael Squillante, John Werner, Ryan Nowell, Brian Madine, Joe Magargal, Taylor Goldson, Jarrod Bulger and Alexander Fallek -- during its Senior Day ceremony prior to the game. Interim Head Coach Tyler Perrelle suited an all-senior starting lineup with White and Goldson playing attack.

Marywood looks to build upon its winning streak with a key matchup with reigning Landmark Conference champion Susquehanna University Tuesday at home at 4:00 pm. Both of the past two meetings between the Crusaders and Pacers have been decided by a goal. In 2013, Susquehanna won 10-9 after an illegal stick violation disallowed a would-be tying goal with 2.3 seconds remaining in regulation. In Selinsgrove last season, the two teams went toe-to-toe for three overtime periods before Cody Bachman capped a goal with less than 1:30 on the scoreboard to give Marywood a 9-8 (3OT) victory.
