The Pacers (5-3, 4-0 CSAC) collected their fifth consecutive victory, matching one that extended into last year's postseason. Stacy Griffing sparked the Pacers with a four-goal output. Caitlin Watson tabbed four points on two goals and two assists. Natalie Burke and Sam Bussinelli produced two gaols and an assist for three points. Katrina Kelly posted a season-best three assists. Michelle Thompson also manufactured three points. Marywood received two-goal outings from Dana Grossjung and Haley Risi. Grossjung caused a team-high three turnovers and collected three draw controls. Mary Ninivaggi padded her numbers with four ground balls. Lauren Smith picked up the win with three saves, and Teressa Izzo made a save in a half of relief. Katie Henry scored her first collegiate goal. Smith put aside her pads to play the field in the second half and scored her first career goal. Marywood built a seven-goal advantage over the first 8:17 of Saturday's contest, getting three goals from Griffing and two apiece from Watson and Grossjung during the run. Keystone (0-4, 0-4 CSAC) snapped the quick start with a goal from Bianca Dolac. The Pacers responded to Dolac's tally with five goals in the next 10 minutes to claim a 12-1 advantage with 10:55 remaining in the first half before adding three more goals to take a 15-1 lead into halftime.Marywoood outshot Keystone 27-10 and claimed a 32-20 advantage in ground balls. Keystone owned a slight 11-10 advantage in draws. The Giants were stunted by 34 turnovers to the Pacers' 21. A quick turnaround pits the Pacers with Alvernia College Monday afternoon at 4:00 pm at the turf field.
