Scranton, PA - Marywood University tied single game records for runs scored and RBIs while setting a new mark in hit by pitches as the Pacers cruised to a 28-0 win over Baptist Bible College Thursday afternoon in Scranton. Marywood tied the 28 runs scored mark and 25 RBI mark set on March 1, 2011 against John Jay College, and set a new record by having batters hit seven times, breaking the old mark of five.

With the win, Coach Jerry Davis earned his 99th career victory.

After a scoreless first inning, Marywood broke open the game with four unearned runs in the second, then added three runs in the third and fourth innings to take a 10-0 lead.

James Goetz went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored to lead Marywood offensively.

Daniel Hull (3-1) got the win, striking out six and allowing just two hits over six innings of work.

Marywood will seek to get CoachDavis his 100th career win as they take on Cairn University in CSAC action tomorrow in Langhorne.
