Hackettstown, N.J. - Marywood University remained unbeaten in the Colonial States Athletic Conference women's lacrosse standings with an 18-4 victory over Centenary College (N.J.) Thursday. The Pacers scored the first seven goals of the game and towered the Cyclones 44-10 in shots.

The Pacers (6-4, 4-0 CSAC) were led by Erin Healy's five goals and an assist. Natalie Burke matched Healy's six points with three goals and three assists. Stacy Griffing scored four goals and an assist for five points.

Sam Bussinelli assisted on four in addition to a goal scored.Amanda Khozouri continued her recent spate of offensive production with two goals.

Defensively, Mary Ninivaggi dominated with six caused turnovers and five ground balls. She moves into fifth in the school record book for career caused turnovers. Stephanie Hughes corralled five draws.

Lauren Smith picks up her sixth victory of the season with three saves in a half's worth of work. Teressa Izzo made two saves in relief. Both allowed two goals.

After nearly three minutes of scoreless action, Healy kickstarted the barrage of Pacer scoring with a goal from Bussinelli. Thirty-two seconds later, Bussinelli tabbed a goal via a Burke pass for her team-high 19th of the season. Khozouri made the best of a Bussinelli feed for a 3-0 lead 5:49 into the contest. The Pacers scored the first seven of the game and went into halftime with a 9-2 advantage.

Marywood narrowly won the draw control game by a 13-11 margin. The Pacers topped the Cyclones 24-14 in ground balls. The Cyclones committed 30 turnovers to the Pacers' 22.

Centenary received two goals and an assist from Abby Voelkner. Devin Sutko assisted three of the team's four scores. Carlie Schmitt and Kristen Rabenstein both scored.

The Pacers enjoy a week off before hosting Gwynedd Mercy University April 9 at 4:00 pm.
