Tunkhannock, PA - Jesse Bingaman earned his third medalist honor in as many matches as the junior transfer shot a low round of 77 to help Marywood defeat the University of Scranton and Keystone College in a tri-match Thursday afternoon at Stonehedge Golf Course in Tunkhannock. Marywood shot a 314 as a team to pick up two wins over the Royals (334) and Giants (335).

Marywood now sits at 19-4 on the year, and shot their lowest team total since it fired a 312 at the Philadelphia Univeristy tri-match on October 3.

As impressive as Bingaman's medalist honors were, the junior could have dominated the match even more had it not been for one bad hole.  He was even par through 15 holes but then recorded a 10 on number 16, which is a par four.

Dalton Deardorff shot a 78 as did Michael Thomas, both finishing seven over par on the par 71 course.  M. Frank Major IV and Jack Lawless both shot a 81, with Lawless' round counting towards Marywood's team score.  Nicholas Johnson fired an 82 and Dominick Mancinelli had a 88 for the Pacers.

In all, Marywood had six of their seven golfers in the top 10.  After Bingaman, Deardorff and Thomas, Scranton's Kevin Nardella carded a 80 (+9) to finish fourth.

Marywood is scheduled to return to the links this Sunday and Monday at the Glenmaura National Invitational co-hosted by the University of Scranton and King's College.
