Scranton, PA - Marywood University suffered their first loss to Rosemont College in women's soccer as the Ravens netted a goal off a corner kick in overtime to shock the Pacers.  Marywood falls to 1-5-1 on the year and 0-1 in CSAC action while Rosemont improved to 1-5 (1-0 CSAC) with their first win of the season.

Marywood had only allowed one goal in the five-year history of the two teams playing, out-scoring Rosemont 18-1 in five games over the previous four seasons with the lone goal coming in a 2-1 overtime victory for the Pacers in 2013.  Today's goal came in the 97th minute of play with 3:02 remaining on the clock in the first overtime.

Marywood cleared a dangerous ball off the endline resulting in Rosemont's fifth corner kick of the game.  Victoria Kasper sent a beautiful ball in near-post and Payton Kanagie was there to tap home the ball in a scramble for the game-winner.

The Ravens were out-shot 17-11 (7-4 on goal) in the game but keeper Andrea Dossantos kept the visitors in the game with some nice diving stops in the second half.  But Marywood rarely challenged her, struggling to connect passes in the attacking third and putting several shots right at Dossantos.

Aly Moyer made three saves in the loss for Marywood.

The Pacers return to action Wednesday with a road trip to Cedar Crest College for a 4:00 pm CSAC matchup.
