Women's Golf Earns First Ever Victory, Downs Wilkes

Mount Cobb, PA - Marywood University's women's golf team earned their first NCAA victory Saturday with a 420-497 win over Wilkes University at Scranton Municipal Golf Course in Mount Cobb. 

Christiane Lowcher led the Pacers and earned medalist honors after a round of 87.  Emily Osborne followed with a 93.  Kimberly Geary was third with a 111.

Wilkes took places fourth through sixth with finishes from Christy Taylor (117), Kendle Peters (118) and Alexa Flood (122).  Rachel Sclafani (129) finished in seventh place while Susan Durand was eighth with a 133.

Marywood is back in action October 17-18 at the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Region Championships in Allentown.
