Immaculata, PA - Julie Youngman's goal in the sixth minute of play proved to be the difference as Marywood University escaped Immaculata with a 1-0 win over the Mighty Macs Saturday afternoon in CSAC women's soccer action.

The Pacers (3-5-1, 2-1 CSAC) out-shot the hosts 26-9 on the day but could not find an insurance goal.

Youngman's game-winner came at the 5:41 mark after Emily Kotcho lofted a cross from the right-back position.  Kotcho's cross bounced once and was one-timed by Youngman past Immaculata's Elizabeth McBride for the game's lone goal.

Aly Moyer made two saves to collect her second straight clean sheet, her third overall on the season.  Liz Carlson, Kate Bateman, Danielle Rill and Kotcho held solid on some intense attacks from the hosts, limiting Immaculata to just nine shots in the game, only two of which were put on frame.

Marywood put 13 shots on goal during the game, but McBride kept the Mighty Macs in it with a game-high 12 saves.

Today's win marked the 150th career coaching victory for Head Coach Andrew Smith.

Marywood looks for their third straight conference win Tuesday when they host Summit University at 4:00 pm.
