Bethlehem, PA - Marywood University came up short in its quest for its first win of the season in a pair of three-set losses at the Greyhound Premiere Invitational Friday. Marywood fell to host Moravian College 25-19, 25-10, 26-24 before dropping a series to Dickinson College 25-22, 29-27, 25-16.

Marywood will play in the Silver Bracket Saturday. The Pacers take on Ursinus College at 10 a.m. and face Alvernia University at 2 p.m.

Against the Greyhounds, Mallorie Deschaine tallied 10 kills. Danielle DeIulio supplied 18 of the team's 20 assists. The Pacers' blocking game flourished again with three block assists from Lauren Besecker and Deschaine.

Three players recorded double-digit digs defensively. Shayna Finn accumulated 14 digs. Amanda Khozouri and Deschaine both added a dozen apiece.

Marywood had an .021 attack percentage for the match. The Greyhounds shot .158, led by Mary Zacher's 14 kills and four errors.

In the loss to the Red Devils, Deschaine tied a school record for most kills in a three-set match. The freshman matched Emily Fillman's 2011 record of 16 kills against Cabrini College. She let up two errors for a .429 attack percentage. Deschaine also led the Pacers with 19 digs and a solo block.

DeIulio posted 27 assists and eight digs. Finn provided 14 digs. Both Khozouri and Mallory Mokay chipped in with nine digs.

Dickinson downed the Greyhounds in four sets to win Pool A and advance to the Championship Bracket against Stevens and Eastern.
