Aston, PA - James Curley led four Marywood players in double figures but host Neumann used a big first half run to pull away as the Knights downed the Pacers 83-67 in CSAC men's basketball action Saturday afternoon in Aston.  Marywood fell to 5-13, 1-10 CSAC with the loss while Neumann moved to 12-6, 9-3 league.

Trailing 11-8 after a three from Marywood's Tip Swartz, Neumann went on a 23-0 run over a nearly 10 minute timespan.  After Swartz knocked down his trey with 16:41 left in the first half, Marywood was held scoreless until a James Curley jumper ended the drought with 6:13 to go after Neumann had built a 20 point lead.

Curley finished with a team high 17 points to lead four Marywood players in double figures.  Connor Callejas returned from injury to score 12  while Connor Shroyer had 11 and Shane Letthand added 10.  Letthand now stands 40 points shy of 1,000 for his career.

Denzel Yard had a game best 18 for the Knights and was one of six Neumann players in double figures.  Neumann shot 70% from the floor for the game and 66.7% from long range while holding Marywood to 43.6% shooting from the floor and 44% from three point range.

Marywood returns to action Monday at Rosemont College.
