Rosemont, Pa. – Marywood University avenged a 1-0 upset loss to Rosemont College in 2015 and moved to 4-0 in CSAC women's soccer action as the Pacers beat the host Ravens 4-2 Saturday outside Philadelphia.  The Pacers stand at 4-4-1 on the year while Rosemont slipped to 1-9 (1-3 CSAC).

Marywood got goals from four different players on the day to remain unbeaten in the league.

Marywood walked into halftime with a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Megan Swiecicki and Natalia Colasurdo

In the 19th minute of action, Swiecicki snuck a one-time shot to the lower left corner of the goal after Julie Youngman settled a cross from Jacki VonItter.  Both VonItter and Youngman were credited with helpers on the play.

Fifteen minutes later, Colasurdo cut a ball back on the top of the 18 yard box and beat the Rosemont keeper back to her left to double the Pacers' lead on an unassisted tally. It was Colasurdo's first collegiate goal.

An early missed chance to make it 3-0 on a breakaway early in the second half cost the Pacers, as the Ravens made things interesting on a Madeline Polino goal in the 59th minute.  Melissa Lynch slid a perfect slot pass to Polino who one-timed it home to make it 2-1.

Marywood responded with back-to-back goals less than five minutes apart to put the game out of reach.  Julie Youngman scored on a breakaway off a feed from Amy Moren in the 61st minute and Brianna Bruster finished a breakaway feed from Emily Gerbehy in the 65th.

Rosemont would tack on one more goal as Darby O'Rourke tucked home a pass from Victoria Kasper in a play almost identical to Polino's and Lynch's earlier in the half to make it 4-2.

Marywood out-shot the hosts 22-9 on the day.  Aly Moyer made three stops while Rosemont got three from Emily Johnston and two from Jenna Kaiser.

The Pacers host Gwynedd Mercy University Tuesday at 4:00 pm.
