Radnor, Pa. - For the third time in the past four years Marywood University tied Cabrini University in CSAC women's soccer action.  Today's 110 minutes of action saw neither team find the back of the net as the Pacers and Cavaliers drew even, 0-0.

In a battle for the league lead both goaltenders stood out.  Aly Moyer made a game-high 10 saves for the Pacers who move to 6-5-2 overall and havfe 18 points with a 6-1-1 league mark while Gabby LeGendre made eight stops for the Cavaliers who are 7-5-1 overall and also have 18 points with a 6-0-1 league record.

Cabrini also extended their CSAC regulars season unbeaten streak to 37 games, during which time they are 33-0-4 with three of the draws coming against Marywood.  The Cavaliers have not lost in the CSAC regular season since a 2-1 setback to Neumann on September 25, 2013.  The Cavaliers have a 43 game winning streak in the conference when playoff games are factored in.

The hosts controlled play early and outshot Marywood 10-5 (5-3 on goal in the opening half) but could not get past Moyer, who made five first half stops to keep the game scoreless at the break.

Tempo turned in the second half, and despite Marywood being outshot 10-9 in that frame, the Pacers seemed to have the more dangerous looks.  Both keepers made five second half saves to force overtime.

Marywood had a 2-0 advantage in shots in overtime, both of which came in the first 10 minutes, and did not yield a shot during the extra stanzas.

With each keeper coming up big to preserve the tie, Marywood's Ashley Kruchinsky beat LeGendre over her head in the first extra period only to see the ball skim just over the crossbar.

Katelyn Gilinger had four dangerous close range chances but three went just wide and Moyer stopped the fourth.  Brianna Bruster put three of her four shots on frame while Megan Swiecicki had two good looks. Shea Olszewski's breakaway attempt on one of her two shots was turned away by a charging LeGendre.

Cabrini held a slight 20-16 edge in shots (10-8 on goal) but dominated in corners with eight to Marywood's three.  Carissa Novelli, McKenzie Dailey, Danielle Rill and Elizabeth Carlson all led a solid defensive effort by the Pacers on the back line.

Marywood travels to nearby Clarks Summit University Wednesday for a 3:30pm CSAC contests.
