Aston, Pa. - Marywood University cruised to a 9-0 win at Neumann Saturday afternoon to close their CSAC women's tennis regular season. The Pacers, now 12-2 (9-1 CSAC) head into next Friday's CSAC semifinal as the number two seed.  Neumann closes their season at 4-9 (4-6 CSAC).

Matches at two singles (Danielle Ogonowski) and four singles (Kristen Lambert) were played to eight point pro sets as the match was already decided with Marywood earning five points.  Both won, 8-2.

In doubles, Abygail Doud and Lambert were 8-2 winners at #1 while Avery McCall and Ogonowski also won 8-2 at #2.  Melanie Kobela and Devin Zombek were 8-1 victors at three doubles.

Doud was a 6-3, 6-2 winner in the top singles flight while McCall (three singles) and Kobela (five singles) both won 6-0, 6-0.  Zombek was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at six singles for the Pacers.

Marywood closes the regular season Tuesday with a 3:30pm non-conference match at Wilkes.
