Scranton, Pa. - Marywood's men's and women's swimming and diving teams gave newly appointed Head Coach Noah Beck his first wins at the collegiate level as the Pacers defeated visiting Cazenovia College Sunday afternoon in Scranton.  Both the men's and women's teams improve to 1-1 on the year with the wins.

The men defeated the Wildcats 125-34 while the women were 144-82 victors.

The ladies' 200 yard medley relay team of Julia Randolph, Chloe Wiggins, Seychelle Duckworth and Siena Senn got the Pacers off to the right start with a win in a time of 2:08.83.  The men's team ran unopposed and finished in 1:53.45 for 11 points.

Zack Costello and Mary Cate Coyle each won the 1000 yard freestyle for the Pacers, and Bryon Scholl (1:53.62) extended the Marywood lead with a win in the 200 free.  
Virginia Cobb was the first of the top four finishers for Marywood in the 50 free with a time of 25.81 while Paul Kraycer took the men's 50 free in 22.63.

Randolph and Joseph Buderwitz each won the 200 IM as Marywood finished first through third in both events.  

Courtney Snyder won the women's 1-meter diving and Justin Stonier won the men's.

Jared Lubarsky added on points for the men with a first place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:01.55).  Mia Nardone led the last sweep of the day or the Pacers in the 500 free with a time of 5:45.06 and Buderwitz won the men's500 free in 5:25.64.  

Snyder and Stonier capped off a strong day of diving for the Pacers with wins on the 3-meter board. 

Marywood is back in action October 22 when they take on Division I Manhattan College in Bronx, New York.
