Radnor, Pa. - Cabrini University's Taylor Mack scored twice and Jackie Nearly added another as the host Cavaliers used three second half goals to get past Marywood 3-1 Wednesday afternoon in a key CSAC field hockey matchup.  The win moves Cabrini to 8-6 overall and 4-1 in league play while Marywood slipped to 9-5 (3-2 CSAC).

Gabbie Bower netted Marywood's lone goal for her team leading 10th tally of the season.

After a scoreless first half that only saw a combined three shots (2-1 in favor of Cabrini), the hosts opened the scoring just 2:50 into the second stanza as Mack finished off a loose ball in front of the goal.  Alex Swallow was credited with the assist.

Just 4:30 later, Mack doubled Cabrini's lead on a feed from Sara Johnsen which she would finish at the far post to make it 2-0.

Again four minutes later the Cavs expanded their lead with an insurance tally from Jackie Neary.  Nearly dribbled through 20 yards of defenders to socre unassisted.

Bower tallied in the 52nd minute when she took a cross from Michaela Schmidt and beat Taylor Bookman near post.

The hosts led in shots (7-5) and penalty corners (9-6).  Kerri Mountz made three saves for Marywood while Bookman stopped two Pacers' shots.

Marywood is back in action Saturday with a trip to Neumann University for a noon CSAC game.
