Scranton, Pa. – In a rematch of last year's Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer championship, Marywood University fell to Cabrini University 3-1 Saturday in a rain-soaked battle. With two games left on the schedule, the Pacers can finish no better than the No. 6 seed in the conference playoffs.

Chris Reynolds scored the Pacers' lone goal in the 87th minute. Trailing by three goals, Reynolds one-timed a failed clear for his second goal of the season.

All three of the Cavaliers' goals were scored in the second half.

A.J. Bishop finished with two goals. He ended the scoreless impasse in the 49th minute. John Underwood passed a blocked shot across the goalmouth for Bishop tap-in.

Just nine minutes later, the reigning CSAC champions were knocking at the Pacers' door again. Bobby Kane headed a cross from the right side off of Joe Fiore's foot for a 2-0 Cabrini lead.

Bishop added his second goal in the 73rd minute. Bishop broke through the defender with a ball slotted in the middle via Ibrahim Kallie.

Marywood and Cabrini played scoreless through the first 45 minutes with several good looks from the Pacers early in the game. Danny Gallagher was inches wide of goal, and Matthew Hull had his shot tipped a ball over the cross bar.

Patrick Brogan made a huge save for the Pacers in the 39th minute to keep the game scoreless. Brogan finished with four saves.

Marywood will take on Clarks Summit University Wednesday at 4:00 pm. The Pacers finish their season at Immaculata University Saturday.
