Scranton, Pa. - Lindsey Quinn's unassisted goal with just 3:21 left in the second overtime lifted Marywood University to a thrilling 3-2 double overtime win over Misericordia University Saturday afternoon in Scranton.  Gabbie Bower made the most of her senior day by assisting on the first two goals as Marywood improved to 12-6 on the year.

Misericordia sees their season come to a close at 5-13.

Tori Jo Kakusian opened the scoring in the 25th minute of play after she took a penalty corner pass from Bower and blasted it home.

Misericordia responded just 2:36 later when Kailey Vogl scored at the 27:30 mark by putting home the rebound after her own shot was blocked.

Sara Marshall put the Pacers up 2-1 just before the half with a goal in the 32nd minute.  Bower played a penalty corner into Amelia Waibel who passed it back to Bower who then found Marshall in traffic in front of the goal for the knock-in.

Just 4:41 after half, the Cougars found the equalizer again when Colby Eldridge put home a pass from Melanie Fry to make it 2-2.

After the remainder of regulation and first overtime passed without the game-winner, the game looked destined to end in strokes.  But at the 86:39 mark Quinn was fed a pass from Bower and beat a defender before scoring the game-winner with a backhanded shot to the goaltender's right.

Misericordia had a 28-20 advantage in shots (18-12 on goal) while Marywood had 12 penalty corners to 11 for the Cougars.

Kerri Mountz collected 15 saves in the win, giving her 40 saves on the week.

Prior to the game, Marywood honored seniors Bower, Ty Fitchet, Waibel and Kirsten Webb along with their families.

Marywood is the #3 seed in the upcoming Colonial States Athletic Conference playoffs and travel to #2 Cabrini Wednesday, November 2.  The semifinal is set for a 4:30pm start in Radnor.
