Immac Ends Pacers' Men's Soccer Season With 2-1 Loss

East Whiteland, Pa. – Marywood University completed its 2016 men's soccer season with a 2-1 loss to Immaculata University. The Mighty Macs notch the No. 2 seed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference playoffs and receive a bye with the victory.
 
Matthew Hull scored his fifth goal of the season in his final game in a Marywood kit. Hull headed a Nick Dyer free kick into net in the 22nd minute to even the score at one apiece.
 
Immaculata's Nick Boule connected for the game-winning goal in the 84th minute. Boule captured a through ball from Alex Noel and put it into the lower-right corner.
 
The Mighty Macs' Kyle Jumalon headed a ball in the 12th minute off of a Mark Staudenmayer bicycle kick from the side of the box.
 
Immaculata outshot the Pacers by a 19-13 margin. The Mighty Macs edged the Pacers 3-2 in corner kicks.
 
Playing in his final game in net, Patrick Brogan made eight saves. His counterpart Joe Lubonski made nine saves.
 
Centenary, whom Marywood tied earlier in the year, earned the top seed in the CSAC tournament. Cabrini, Keystone, Neumann and Gwynedd Mercy round out the CSAC playoff participants.
