Scranton, Pa. - The Catholic University of America left Scranton on a strong note as both the Cardinals' men and women picked up convincing wins over Marywood Saturday afternoon. CUA's men's team bested the University of Scranton Friday night while the women fell to the Royals.

On the men's side, the Cardinals (2-0, 1-0 Landmark) defeated the Pacers (1-3, 0-1 Landmark) 200.5-86.5 while the women (1-1, 1-0) were 193-90 winners over Marywood (1-3, 0-1).

Virginia Cobb picked up the win int eh 200 freestyle for Marywood with a time of 2:03.88 to edge Madison Amann (2:04.20). Bryon Scholl (1:52.69) would win the tight men's race in the 200 free over Oliver Nguyen (1:52.77) by just .08.

Paul Kraycer (22.80) won the men's 50 free while Scholl took the 100 free in 50.06.  Scholl would later win the 100 butterfly in 56.50 to pick up his third win of the afternoon.  

Gabby Creazo won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 163.95 and later took the 3-meter diving with a score of 205.  

Julia Randolph had a strong showing in the 200 backstroke, winning in 2:22.26.  

The Pacers are back in action November 5 when they face Susquehanna and Drew in a Landmark Conference tri-meet at Susquehanna.
