Houghton, N.Y. – Marywood University junior setter Danielle DeIulio set the women's volleyball program single-season record for assists in a four-match split at the Houghton Tournament this weekend. The Pacers earned wins over Keuka and Utica Friday before falling to Houghton and Hiram Saturday. All matches went three sets.
 
DeIulio surpassed both Alyssa Hartranft and Kelly Chadwick to set the new program benchmark. Trailing Hartranft by two and Chadwick by 69 assists, DeIulio notched a combined 104 assists at the Western New York tournament. DeIulio averaged 26 assists per match and 8.667 per set.
 
Having already locked the No. 4 seed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference playoffs, Marywood also learned its opponent Saturday. The Pacers will host fifth-seeded Notre Dame of Maryland Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the Insalaco Arena.
 
Marywood 3, Keuka 0
 
Marywood won by scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-14.
 
Gabby Santos posted nine kills, zero errors on 21 attempts for a .429 attack percentage. The Pacers finished with a .259 attack percentage.
 
DeIulio notched 24 assists. Mallorie Deschaine provided 12 digs and five blocks.
 
Shayna Finn and Jordan Vossler each had 10 digs.
 
Marywood 3, Utica 0
 
Marywood won by scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-11.
 
Deschaine garnered a double-double with 12 kills and 12 digs. She committed only one error on 22 attempts for a .500 attack percentage.
 
Vossler matched Deschaine with 12 digs. Santos secured five aces.
 
Peri Sheerin did not commit any errors with 10 kills on 17 attempts for a .588 attack percentage.
 
DeIulio tied a school record with 38 assists in a three-set match. She tied Chadwick's 2013 mark against Wilkes.
 
Marywood shot only three errors for the entire match.
 
Houghton 3, Marywood 0
 
Host Houghton was victorious in a tight match by scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-23.
 
Peri Sheerin led the team with 10 kills and a .308 attack percentage. Katherin McGrath posted three aces.
 
Finn and Deschaine each totaled 12 digs.

Hiram 3, Marywood 0
 
Hiram downed the Pacers by scores of 25-23, 25-16, 25-19.
 
Deschaine recorded her 13th double-double of the season with 14 kills and 10 digs.
 
Finn and Vossler garnered 13 and 11 digs, respectively.
