Volleyball Succumbs to Cabrini in CSAC Matchup

Scranton, Pa. – Marywood University's four-match winning streak came to a close with a three-set loss to Cabrini College Tuesday in Colonial States Athletic Conference volleyball. The Cavaliers defeated the Pacers by scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-22.

The Pacers were led by Danielle DeIulio with 20 assists and eight digs. Jordan Vossler finished with eight digs and three service aces.

At the offensive end, Mallorie Deschaine and Peri Sheerin finished with eight kills. Deschaine had a team-high nine digs, and Sheerin finished with a .143 attack percentage.

Cabrini was led by Emily Stokarski with 32 assists. Ashley Shannon finished with 16 digs, and Kelly Guarino notched 11 digs. Guarino had a double-double with 10 kills.

On the horizon, the Pacers travel to Towson, Md. to take on Goucher and Hood Saturday. The following day, they go to Charm City to face Notre Dame Maryland in a key CSAC matchup.
