Baltimore, Md. - Gabbie Bower and Amanda Focht each scored two goals while Lindsey Gladden scored one and added two assists as Marywood rolled host Notre Dame of Maryland University 11-0 in CSAC field hockey action Saturday.  The Pacers improved to 9-3 overall and 3-1 in the league while the Gators slipped to 1-9 (0-3).

Marywood set a program record for goals in a game in a 12-0 win over Notre Dame last October and nearly equaled that total again today as the Pacers got goals from nine different players and points from 12.

Tori Jo Kakusian opened the scoring for Marywood 3:49 into the contest by blasting home a penalty stroke.  Bower would double the Marywood lead in the 12th minute on an unassisted tally.

Kenzie Drew got into the scoring frenzy in the 19th minute off a feed from Gladden, and Maralee Holleran scored her first collegiate goal in the 26th minute on an assist from Sara Sterchak.  Twenty-one seconds later Gladden found the back of the cage on a feed from Ty Fitchet and Focht made it 6-0 Marywood with a goal in the 32nd minute on a Betsy Macko helper.

Marywood got goals from Bower, Macko, Karly Kaminsky, Kristy Haskell and Focht in the second half.

Kerri Mountz got the win in net without making a save in the first 25:14 of the game while Emma Stockwin preserved the shutout with one stop.  Marywood outshot the hosts 34-1 (24-1 on goal) and had eight penalty corners to Notre Dame's two.

Marywood is back in action Monday as they travel to take on Alvernia University at 4:00 pm in non-conference action.
