Pacers Notch Key CSAC Win over Notre Dame Maryland

Baltimore – Marywood University notched a decisive three-set victory over Notre Dame Maryland to keep itself afloat in the Colonial States Athletic Conference volleyball playoff hunt. The Pacers (10-15, 5-2) finish their Baltimore weekend with a sweep of Hood, Goucher and Notre Dame.

The Pacers won by scores of 25-7, 25-22, 25-19 over the Gators. Both teams were tied in the conference standings with two losses.

Gabby Santos finished with a game-high nine kills. She committed three errors on 25 attempts for a .240 attack percentage.

Danielle DeIulio provided the Pacers with 22 assists. She was one dig shy of a double-double with nine.

Jordan Vossler led the team defensively with 13 digs.

Mallorie Deschaine had a balanced game with eight kills and eight digs.

The Gators' Jamie Reyes posted a double-double with 18 assists and 10 digs. Cleya Antes contributed with 19 digs.

Nothing worked well for the Gators in the first set. Notre Dame committed 14 errors with just three kills for a minus-.393 attack game.

For the match, Marywood shot .202 with only nine committed errors. The Gators were plagued by a minus-.028 attack percentage.

The Pacers host a CSAC tri-match against Clarks Summit and Neumann Wednesday evening.
