Radnor, PA – Marywood University swept Cabrini College Sunday in nonconference men's and women's swimming and diving. The Pacers' men edged the Cavaliers by a 93-89 score, and Marywood won over the Cavaliers 107-98 in the women's results.

In the 50 free, Virginia Cobb claimed first place over Cabrini's Lauren Finnegan. Cobb touched at 26.36 seconds, notching a 61-hundreths win over the Cavalier freshman. She downed Finnegan again in the 500 free with a 5:37.46, never trailing throughout the race.

Mia Nardone was a multi-event winner for the Pacers. She improved by over three seconds on her seed time in the 200 IM. Nardone took first by over six seconds with a 2:20.75, setting the top Landmark Conference time of the season. Nardone was victorious in the 100 back with a 1:05.33 performance.

Chloe Wiggins survived a big test in the 100 breast. She knocked off a half-second in the 100 breast, clocking in at a 1:18.24.

Marywood won its lone relay in the 400 medley. Julia Randolph, Mary Cate Coyle, Nardone, and Cobb turned a 2-second disadvantage after the first leg into a 16-second win. The Pacers tabbed a 4:25.73.

Bryon Scholl earned a pair of first place swims. He took first in the 1000 free, finishing with a minute-plus lead at 10:43.48. Scholl repeated in the 100 free in 50.19 seconds.

Paul Kraycer crushed the competition in the 50 free, taking first in 22.55 seconds. He followed that up with a first place in the 100 back, cruising to a 58.1 time.

Joseph Buderwitz pulled away in the 200 IM. Holding onto a 12-hundreths of a second lead at midway, Buderwitz jetted to a 2:08.29. He topped that off with a 5:22.99 for first in the 500 free.

Marywood's 200 free relay team of Scholl, Wes Yancey, Michael Freeman and Kraycer yielded a 1:33.22 for the top finish.

There was no diving.

The Pacers will compete in their Senior Day Saturday when they host crosstown rival The University of Scranton at 1:00 pm.
