Radnor, Pa. - Host and second-seed Cabrini University advanced to the 2016 CSAC Field Hockey Championship match with 3-0 win over third-seed Marywood University Wednesday in Radnor.  The Cavaliers (11-7) will meet top-seed Gwynedd Mercy University after the Griffins disposed of #4 Keystone College, 8-2 in the other semifinal.

Marywood (12-7) got a game-high 10 saves from Kerri Mountz, but the Pacers could muster little offense on the evening as they were outshot by the hosts 18-3.

10:50 into the semifinal Cabrini's Maddy Worley finished a cross from Alex Swallow to make it 1-0.  The score would remain that way past the break until Jackie Neary scored off a double assist from Kylie McDevitt and Taylor Mack on a penalty corner in the 52nd minute.

Just under four minutes later the Cavaliers put the game out of reach when Worley scored her second of the game, this time off a feed from Neary.

Cabrini got two saves from Taylor Bookman and a defensive save on the third Marywood shot on goal.

Marywood awaits a possible ECAC tournament bid and will learn their fate late Monday after the NCAA tournament brackets are announced.
